(July 24, 2007) 00 Morgan Keegan, Inc. presents the 7th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Central Alabama CrimeStoppers. Thanks to Morgan Keegan, all money raised from this tournament benefits CrimeStoppers and its efforts to curb crime in our community. Registration includes a sandwich box lunch from 11:30am-12:30pm , grilled hamburgers following tournament play, goody bag, and door prizes.

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers Celebrates 10 Years
(May 1, 2007) -- A small group of business leaders, law enforcement officers, media, and concerned citizens held their first official meeting for Montgomery Area CrimeStoppers (now known as Central Alabama CrimeStoppers). Ten years to the date, May 7, 2007, a big celebration is going to be held to commemorate 10 years of taking criminals off the streets of Central Alabama.

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, local law enforcement agencies, and WSFA TV teamed up February 28 with the “CrimeStoppers/WSFA Action Line.” For 14 hours the hotline phone bank of 14 phones took in more than 100 tips leading to 22 arrests.
