13 Thousand Dollars Worth of Lawn Equipment Stolen

An Elmore County man finds himself at a loss after someone steals
thousands of dollars worth of lawn equipment from his Wallsboro business.
After 26 years of fencing in and building his own farmer's and flea
market, Tommy Goolsby finds himself at a 13 thousand dollar loss in one day. Goolsby says, "The locks had been cut, and I found my pickup truck had
been broken into. It was hooked up to the lawn equipment."
Goolsby says someone stole his utility trailer, riding lawn mower, two
weedeaters, and a blower from under a shed March 13th. Goolsby says, "To
show up and feel violated like this is just a disheartening feeling."
Feeling the need to catch the burglar, Goolsby did a little investigating
of his own. Goolsby says, "It was a long shot." He discovered a customer
came into the Kubota dealership in Montgomery four days after his equipment
disappeared.
The customer bought a key for a mower, one of his stolen items. Goolsby
says, "I'd really like for them to catch who did it. It's not the equipment
at this point that I'm worried about as much as it would be to find out who
did it."
Goolsby informed the Elmore County Sheriff's office of his findings. Now
investigators want to question a man captured on surveillance video in the
store.
As an extra incentive to get someone to come forward with information
about the man's whereabouts, Goolsby is offering a one thousand dollar
reward. If you have information on this case call the CrimeStoppers
