Millbrook Police Investigators released a photo of a suspect wanted for the burglary that occurred on April 26, 2024, at Dixie One Stop, located at 5011 Main Street, AL. Investigators say the suspect used a hammer to forcibly enter the business, while inside, the suspect stole assorted U.S. currency and assorted merchandise valued at over $500.00. The suspect, described as a white male, was viewed on security cameras wearing dark clothing and a white facemask.

The Montgomery Police Department continues to investigate the April 12, 2024, shooting that left one victim paralyzed. Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect and are asking anyone with details or information to please come forward.

 

Investigators say on Friday, April 12, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., patrol units responded to W. Eastdale Circle and Atlanta Highway in reference to a subject shot. Police say the victim was located inside her vehicle in the 5500 block of Atlanta Highway. The victim sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

 

Family members of the victim identified the victim as Amy Dicks. Her family says Ms. Dicks has been receiving medical treatment and is currently paralyzed from the chest down. The family states that her injuries will impact Ms. Dicks and her family mentally, physically, and financially for the remainder of their lives.

 

The circumstances surrounding this violent shooting remain under investigation and no other details are available for release at this time. Investigators and family ask anyone who may have seen something or know something to please come forward.
