The Prattville Police Department is seeking information regarding the fraudulent use of a debit/credit card investigation.
Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown subject wanted for the offense. On April 9, 2024, the pictured suspect traveled to an ATM located in the 100 block of Interstate Court, Prattville, Alabama, and unlawfully used a credit card that did not belong to him and made multiple fraudulent transactions.
Investigators say the pictured suspect, described as a black male, also had a passenger with him in the vehicle. Investigators say the suspect was seen driving what appeared to be a maroon-in-color Toyota Camry with an unknown tag.

Opelika Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown suspect wanted for a felony theft investigation. The offense occurred, on April 4, 2024, at about 5:49 p.m. at Ulta located at 2690 Enterprise Drive, Opelika, Alabama. Investigators say the suspect entered the business and approached the stylist station, while the employee was away from their station, the suspect removed the wallet from the victim’s purse and then exited the store. The suspect left the scene in an unknown direction of travel.
Investigators say surveillance video shows the suspect, identified as a black female, is seen on surveillance video wearing a blue hat, blue shirt, shorts, and black sandals. There are no other details available for release at this time.

The Montgomery Police Department continues to investigate the April 12, 2024, shooting that left one victim paralyzed. Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect and are asking anyone with details or information to please come forward.
Investigators say on Friday, April 12, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., patrol units responded to W. Eastdale Circle and Atlanta Highway in reference to a subject shot. Police say the victim was located inside her vehicle in the 5500 block of Atlanta Highway. The victim sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Family members of the victim identified the victim as Amy Dicks. Her family says Ms. Dicks has been receiving medical treatment and is currently paralyzed from the chest down. The family states that her injuries will impact Ms. Dicks and her family mentally, physically, and financially for the remainder of their lives.
The circumstances surrounding this violent shooting remain under investigation and no other details are available for release at this time. Investigators and family ask anyone who may have seen something or know something to please come forward.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers has increased the cash reward to $5,000.00 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the shooter. In honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, Montgomery County District 3 Commissioner, Rhonda Walker is matching CrimeStoppers' reward with an additional $5.000.00.
